Tenaciously Teal’s founder, Tarah Warren, was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in December of 2012. After her surgery, she began to notice many patients who needed to be reminded of God’s love for them. Tarah began bringing Cancer Care Packs to treatment, and praying with patients over her sixteen months of chemo. Care Packs contained simple things Tarah used to fight cancer and as she distributed them she was able to share her joy and hope in Christ.
After Tarah completed treatment she felt God asking her, “you know of the suffering of many, will you continue to be a catalyst for showing my love to those who are hurting?”. A ministry was born after much prayer, and God has continued to use Tarah’s simple acts of kindness to form a network of support for cancer fighters.
Tenaciously Teal Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit and has delivered thousands of care packs across Oklahoma and the U. S. The ministry of Tenaciously Teal is dedicated to spreading the love, joy, and peace of Jesus in a tangible way to cancer fighters.
