Invest in the stories that make Longmont greatUpgrade the LPM podcast studio

LPM is a community-powered media makerspace, where Longmont's audiovisual creators come together to share professional studios, equipment, and support. It's loved by locals, like SideDish Longmont, a podcast that's recorded at LPM since 2021.

SideDish saw the opportunity to give back: a studio for the whole community. They've partnered with LPM to design a space that's easy to use, beautiful, and flexible enough to fit your dream. A space to share stories, host a show, make business promos, or launch a brand.

And did we say easy to use? The new studio is designed so that solo acts or full crews will be able to walk in, sit down, and record. This isn't a place where you could record — this is a studio where you'll just have to record.

We hope you'll join us and invest in the voices that tell Longmont's stories — especially yours.

What you're building

  • A way to share YOUR story — Business promos, social media content, podcasts, video podcasts, current events programming, or a simple livestream. Solo or with a full crew — the studio works with you.
  • A simple, accessible studio — Designed so that someone who has never been in a recording studio can walk out with professional content. Easy to use and extremely affordable.
  • A place for the whole community — Local businesses, civic organizations, community groups, and independent creators all have something worth saying. You'll give them somewhere to say it well.
  • A professional location — The podcast studio will be moving upstairs, to where the editing room currently is. Funds will be used to upgrade equipment including cameras, lights, and acoustic treatment.

A studio worthy of every voice in Longmont

Walk in. Flip a switch. Start recording.

Technical Specs

Every voice sounds like it belongs on air

Professional broadcast microphones deliver studio-quality sound the moment you sit down — no extra hardware, no tweaking. The same caliber of gear behind the world's best-known podcasts.

Cinematic video, not just footage

Multiple cameras with upgraded lenses deliver depth, color, and production value consumer setups can't match. Walk in with a story. Walk out with something that belongs on screen.

The room sounds as good as the equipment

Professional acoustic treatment throughout — no reverb to fight, no post-processing workaround. What you record is what you get, every time.

Ready for one — or a full crew

Permanent ceiling lights on a single switch and a purpose-built console — sightlines for everyone and a home for every cable. Pre-wired and the same every session.

A set worth showing up for

A designed backdrop, a mounted display, and branded décor turn the room into a polished, recognizable studio — a place that looks like a destination on camera, not a spare room.

Built for real production

A dedicated producer position inside the studio, plus an adjacent room for guests, prep, and post-session review — so one show can record while the next is being set up.

Included — Studio Relocation

Moving to a dedicated, larger, climate-controlled space within LPM's facility — better lit, purpose-built, and designed so every session feels intentional.
