Video Post-production: Intro to editing with Adobe Premiere Pro

This introductory 101 class covers the very basics of Adobe Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro is the industry-leading video editing software for everything from short social media clips to feature length productions. Longmont Public Media uses Premiere Pro for virtually all post-production editing.

This class is geared towards those who have very little knowledge about this program and want to start learning how to use it to enhance their video productions. Specifically, we will cover the different workspace panels offered in Premiere, how to import and store your media, how to build a story using the nonlinear editing software, in addition to learning some commonly used effects, adding titles and graphics to your project, and finally how to export your media for different platforms.

This class will be conducted in-person at Longmont Public Media’s edit bay which can only accommodate 3 people maximum (including the instructor). The cost of the class is Free for Longmont Public Media members and non-members.
