Talk&Tunes featuring Jesse Ogle

Talk&Tunes is a talk show produced and hosted by Blessing Chimanga, where he sits down with both popular and upcoming Colorado-based artists to dive into their lives, creative processes, aspirations, upbringings, and songwriting techniques. Each episode blends meaningful conversation with live performances, giving audiences the chance to not only hear the music but also connect with the stories behind it. The show also invites the audience to engage directly through questions and interaction

The Special guest for December edition is Jesse Ogle.

Jesse Ogle is an American musician, educator, and community organizer. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Oregon State University and later completed a Master’s in Songwriting and Music Production from South Wales University.

Professionally, Jesse has worked as a touring bassist, bandleader, booking agent, and music educator. He is the co-founder of the iAM MUSIC school based in Durango, Colorado, and serves as the Community Development Director for Roots Music Project.

In addition to his educational and leadership work, Jesse fronts the electro-pop-funk collective Nu Bass Theory, blending live instrumentation with electronic beats. He is also the bass guitarist for WrennVanBand, Blessing Chimanga, and other performing acts.

Recently, Jesse appeared as “Player 058” on Season 2 of Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), drawing on his creative background and music-industry journey during his audition and performance.
