“Encounter with the Seashell Mafia” with filmmaker Chris Allred (Narrative Short film)
A woman discovers a mysterious gift shop on her morning hike. Once inside the gift shop, she is offered a trinket she never knew she wanted. In true mafia fashion, the trinket comes with a price.

“Growing the City” with filmmaker Anne Cantwell.
A filmmaker begins diving in over 120 years of history downriver from Washington, DC, and meets a century long Biologists Field Club fighting to protect Plummers Island, ‘the most thoroughly studied island in North America’ from the growing needs of the capital. For over 120 years, biologists have been forging history and scrutinizing the island’s thousands of species of plants, insects and wildlife on one of the DMV’s last wild areas.

“Watch You Rise” with filmmaker Isabella Grace Cohn
A documentary about a 21-year-old filmmaker who embarks on a cross-country journey to uncover the roots of sexual assault, interviewing young adult survivors, perpetrators, and experts. After her own assault, she must confront personal and familial trauma. Her exploration reveals societal divisions, diverse testimonies, hope, and transformation through action. Watch You Rise delves into the complex aspects of sexual assault, showing how harm can be both intentional and unintentional. The film highlights the current limitations and failures of sex education, the impact of trauma, and the choices survivors and perpetrators can make to break the cycle. The film amplifies the voices of marginalized communities, advocating for accountability over shame and empowering young people to drive change.
