Premiere Pro Editing Club
Interested in learning more about Adobe Premiere Pro? We’re here to help! Premiere Pro is the industry-leading video editing software for everything from short social media clips to feature length productions. Longmont Public Media uses Premiere Pro for virtually all post-production editing and we’re now offering an editing club to help tackle specific concerns within your current projects.
Each session will begin with a short demo of a new skill or tool within Premiere Pro to use and will then move on to a “free edit” period where you can work on your projects individually. Please bring the footage you need to edit! If there is something specific you want to learn in the session, please email firstname.lastname@example.org ahead of time to ensure demoing during the session. Premiere editing club was formed for the spread of new information with the idea in mind that we can all benefit to learn from each other. Thus, if you’ve developed a new skill, please feel free to share it with the class at any point during the session.
Please note: This club is geared towards those who have a basic understanding of this program already and want to edit their projects with a staff member nearby and ready to help in case they run into any issues. For individual, beginner Premiere Pro lessons, please email email@example.com to set up a time to learn during her office hours as we will be skipping over basic information.
This class will be conducted in-person at Longmont Public Media’s edit bay which can only accommodate 3 people maximum (including the instructor). The cost of the class is Free for Longmont Public Media members and non-members.
The class will be instructed by LPM’s Executive Producer Megan Lowery. Please note: proof of vaccination is required to enter the building.
