Helping Harmonies: Supporting the Future Arts Foundation

Helping Harmonies, focuses on supporting the Future Arts Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Lafayette, Colorado, that raises money and collects music instruments to donate to victims who lost theirs in the Marshall Fire. Additionally, they raise money for schools that have had their music programs cut due to budget restrictions.

 In order to support the organization, a benefit concert will take place at Longmont Public Media on December 13th at 5:00pm. Instrument donations are greatly appreciated and encouraged, and can be dropped off or picked up by contacting @helpingharmonies on instagram, or by email. Instrument donations can be brought directly to the event on December 13th. Patrons can receive a free ticket for a donation.

Being a musician and having your passion stifled due to circumstances outside of your control is heart wrenching.  According to Boulder Lifestyle Magazine, The Future Arts Foundation is one of the “Five Nonprofits Making a Difference in Colorado” and we believe Longmont is capable of stepping up and helping the organization in continuing to make a change in Colorado.
